HeartCode PALS is a 6 hour self-directed learning program using mircosimulation technology. This method of learning is not recommended for first time PALS students or anyone who is not proficient with the pediatric population. The hands-on skills check off is for those who have taken the American Heart Association online portion of the training but require the in person skills. Complete the online course and visit CED Learning Center to complete the skills check-off using an iPad and a manikin. The American Heart Association PALS skills check off is designed to complete the three step process for Heartcode PALS certification.
